The gorgeous Black Forest!

It’s been amazingly beautiful here over the past few days, even though it’s been COLD!  We’ve had snow for the past three days… and it’s remained!

The sun came out for a few minutes today… it was absolutely beautiful, so I thought I’d share a photo or two.

You can also see the famous Black Forest fog in this picture… it’s just over the next ridge from our house.  It’s a unique phenomenon for this area (and other mountainous areas) in winter.  Oftentimes it’s so thick that visibility is only a few feet, but above it is crystal clear.

We’re thankful that God has called us to live in such a beautiful place!
